The city of Zurich in Switzerland is one of the places where Lord Muruga, the benefactor of Kaliyuga, resides and bestows his grace. What a sight it is to see Lord Muruga, the deity of the country, sitting on the bank of a waterfall that rises steadily in the mountainous region of Kurinji!
This temple was built on September 9, 1994, and the first Mahakumbabhishekam was held in 1995. In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, Lord Muruga is worshiped along with Valli Deivayanai. A vel has also been constructed.
People of all races and religions come to this temple and offer prayers that bring them contentment. Let us visit this temple with its statues, shrines, and holy waters, receive the blessings of Lord Sri Sivasubramaniam, and achieve enlightenment.
This temple regularly organizes various religious, cultural, and artistic events and activities. We also organize the participation of students from Swiss schools, colleges, universities, etc. in this temple to learn more about Hinduism, its philosophies and its worship, and to meet their needs.
Based on this, we are now pleased to publish a book of rare life philosophies called “Thirukkural.”
We request everyone to read it, understand its contents, and benefit from it.
Thank you
